  • I think the biggest issue that Canonical will face is long-term funding, primarily due the high cost of serving ISOs. If Canonical can figure out a way to leverage BitTorrent, or some other distributed platform, as their primary distribution system, it will go a long way.

  • Oh, I prefer Cyberduck to Transmit. I've used both, and Cyberduck has much better features overall, imho.

  • Personally, I always hated the titanium skins, they felt amateur to me. The gradient looks much more professional, and is far easier on the eyes.

  • As someone who has taken the plunge and actually switched entirely to Dvorak layout for 4 months, I can say that it is possible, and it is faster. After about 2 months of use, I was was typing 12 wpm faster than I ever had with QWERTY. If you are on a *nix system, try DvorakNG (search Google).
